Membership Terms and Conditions
The following conditions of use apply to all members.
The Library is a communal place and everyone is welcome. The service is intended to be used in a fair and community-minded manner by all visitors. At their discretion, staff may ask visitors acting in an anti-social way to leave the premises if they are in breach of this condition.
Membership registration is dependent upon showing satisfactory proof of identity and current address. Digital identification is also acceptable.
A parent or legal guardian must be present to sign on behalf of and accept responsibility for the membership of anyone under the age of 18.
A current Library card or copy saved to a card app must be presented when borrowing items.
Members must notify the Library in the event of any changes of contact details.
Members must return or renew all items borrowed from the Library on or before the due date.
Members will be charged full replacement costs for any items returned six months past the due back date.
Members will be charged for repairs to, or replacement of, items which are lost or damaged. Members should not attempt to repair any Library items.
No items may be issued to a Library card that has financial records.
Members must notify the Library if their membership card is lost or stolen. Liability for any items borrowed or charges incurred prior to such notification is the responsibility of the member.
