The Town of Victoria Park is committed to the ongoing wellbeing of our community through programs which make a difference. We want our community to be the best they can be!
As part of Mental Health Week 2024, we have once again embraced The Resilience Project with their Digital Wellbeing Series presented by Hugh van Cuylenburg. The series consisting of 8 short videos which each address a key factor to wellbeing through a storytelling approach and highlight the research and accessible ways to practice in everyday life.
The topics covered will be: Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness, Emotional Literacy, Healthy Habits and Positive Emotion.
Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity. It is a necessary skill for coping with life's inevitable obstacles and one the key ingredients to success. Having resilience minimises the effect that negative, stressful situations can have on us. These skills allow us to face challenges, learn from them and apply these skills so we can live a healthy life.
We have embraced The Resilience Project so we can all learn how to be mentally and spiritually healthy. Come and join us throughout Mental Health Week to watch the screenings of the Digital Wellbeing Series at various locations within the Town.

Wednesday 9 October 11am, Town of Victoria Park Library
